SUSTAINABILITY

DEA Studio sustainability approach starts instantly when you have in front of us the Client, who has a program, in the best case with a business/feasibility plan. If he has or not a predefined program as a 360* urban designer & architect we try to understand the Client intuition of doing a profitable investment and interpret it through design conceptually. First, the design solutions in the specific urban context and then architecture assure the Client in its venture.

Consequently, DEA Studio approaches sustainability with the view towards the enormous potential of research, experimentation, and testing to improve both the energy efficiency of buildings as well as the more holistic idea of sustainable buildings for the future. DEA Studio engages with the concept of sustainability across the basic principles of the passive energy design, before passing to the climate control systems to use as less as possible the energy.

BIM / REVIT

BIM, as the next step in the technological development of spatial design and planning, enables architects an overview of this data and the ability to interact in a smart way, in real-time collaboration with clients, advisors and experts.

BIM thus becomes a design tool that simulates, automatically updates and manages the spatial consequences of the desires of the individual parties involved in a design process, confronting them with one another in way previously impossible. DEA Studio has made a significant progress to BIM, in the form of Autodesk Revit, over the last five years training its staff continuously.
